Mustang Ranch Camp   The Mustang Ranch Team - L to R - Ben McCulloch, owner/outfitter; Cam Kleibrink, guide; Mike Turner, guide In 2004, Ben McCulloch decided to convert his hunting operation from a traditional season lease to the guided/outfitted format.  Ben signed on with the Adobe Lodge group and has been providing outstanding hunts for whitetail deer and spring turkey.  Mustang Ranch Hunt # 1 The first hunt of the year at the Mustang Ranch saw a couple of young hunters take their first-ever bucks after taking their first-ever does.  A hunter's first-ever deer is a big, never-to-be-forgotten experience. Mustang Ranch Hunt # 2 The second hunt at the Mustang Ranch in 2005 found a group of four hunters from New Jersey back again for a second time.  Since they've already booked the same date again for 2006, it's safe to say they like the hunting and the accommodations at the Mustang Ranch.  Gosh - that's three years in a row.  It's no wonder why they like the place - they took some dandy deer.  They would have been four for four, but again, a missed shot keep the board from being filled with bucks.  A feeder leg was hit, but there was no blood.  (The best guess is that the bullet was deflected by a wire somewhere along its path.) 18 1`/4" 9 pt 141 1/8 BC Mustang Ranch Hunt # 2 18" 8 pt. 15 1/2" 8 pt. Mustang Ranch Hunt # 3 The third and final hunt at the Mustang Ranch in 2005 found two newcomers and two hunters back for their second hunt with Ben McCulloch.  The four hunters collected three bucks.  Jon Wrenn brought along his beautiful wife, Larney, as a non-hunter. Jon was accompanied again by his hunting friend, Scott Prince.  These three are all from South Carolina.  Here for their first hunt with the Mustang Ranch were Art St. John (Colorado), and Walter Jackson (Texas).  Ann McCulloch, Ben's beautiful wife was the cook.  Cam Kleibrink and Mike Turner were the guides.  The schedule for 2006 is now set and if you'd like to get a list of open dates, shoot us an e-mail.  20 1/4" 7 pt.
